More Simplified Ability to Dynamically Display Text in Word Documents

Looking for a more simplified way to dynamically display text in Word documents. The conditional {{# field-name}}{{field-name}}{{/field-name}} tends to confuse people and lead to many inadvertent issues on configuring the template Word doc. It is also unclear where to put the handlebar references in order to include line breaks, exclude line breaks, remove entire sections, etc.
