Êmail: send a web form Deadline feature how to use it?

Hi,

I'm new using this tool and i'm figuring out how to use the Email Send a webform action to send an email to customers. They need to fill a particular form, but if they don t do the action the instance keeps running and can t complete the next steps.

I tried to use the 'Deadline' feature for this action supposing that with that i would control the time to wait the answer, but is not working at least for that.

1st question: whats the purpose for the Deadline and can be used in the case i present? How?

2nd question: whats another alternative to do that instead of use Deadline if thats not the correct use?
