March Minor Release

On Tuesday, March 16, we will push our March minor release which focuses on platform improvements. Our UAT environment will go live with these changes on Monday, March 8th. The changes in this update pose little risk to your existing workflows. Check out below what is being updated.

What's been improved?

Added CSV action column references
When referencing a table via CSV file. We will read the file and return column values within the subsequent column input fields with the goal of improving action configuration usability.

Actions updated:

  • CSV: Add or remove columns
  • CSV: Create a spreadsheet for each unique value
  • CSV: Update file with another file

Added Excel action column references
When referencing a table via spreadsheet file. We will read the file and return column values within the subsequent column input fields with the goal of improving action configuration usability.

Actions updated:

  • Excel: Apply filters
  • Excel: Join two sheets
  • Excel: Lookup data in columns
  • Excel: Remove duplicate rows

Added column references for table actions referencing tables via handlebar values
When referencing a table via field. We will resolve the field value and return column values within the subsequent column input fields with the goal of improving action configuration usability.

What's been improved?

  • Prevented unnecessary polling queries when the browser window is not focused
  • Removed snoozed tasks from active task list for completed instances
  • Improved validation for column references using the app name
  • Improved performance of teams when executing a large number of actions
  • Fixed issue causing max task processing capacity in the platform to be reduced over time
  • Fixed issue that prevented workflows with colons in the column names from being imported
