Should master data table filter take 10+ minutes?

Is it normal for a filter action on a Master Data Table to take over 10 minutes? I have a reporting process that filters the Master Data Table of a different process based on start date criteria. This task consistently takes more than 10 minutes to execute, sometimes more than 20. Is this normal?

    Tom,

    10 minutes is a good default maximum for any given task executed on the platform. In most cases they will be far faster, but if a task exceeds 10 minutes in duration of execution, then there is likely an issue of configuration, limit, performance, or a bug.
