How to assign a task to a person whose full name stored in a field
Hello,
I tried to use Action " Assign task to a person" with the field reference. however I can't input a field reference by entering {{field name}} . it looks more like a choice with validation, see attached picture.

but the document states it is possible to use a field reference 
what is the issue, a version problem or additional setting I was not aware of?

Hi, @SHI_103138 .
For the time being you'll need to switch to the previous builder interface ("Open in Previous Editor" on your step). This will allow you to use a field reference; for Assign task to a person, I would recommend working with the Catalytic username for dynamic task assignment. If you need to look up the username, I would use Tables: Look up data in a column with the Application Table: Users table.
