Tables: Apply Filters vs Excel: Apply Filters
I need to use Excel: Apply Filters action due to the size of data sets but am having difficulty with the filter logic using OR ||
. The process runs with no error but the resulting filtered file is blank with the below config:
When I use the same configuration settings in Tables: Apply Filters action, it works perfectly:
Is the expectation that the logic and formatting of filters should be consistent between these two actions?

@Meghan_642561 Yes, these should be consistent but are not currently unfortunately. In the Excel filter action your filter criteria is assumed to be the string you are looking for, not an expression. Tables: Filter allows for an expression.
For both you can use the advanced filter criteria to achieve what you want:
columns['Name'] == 'Orange' || columns['Name'] == 'Blue' || columns['Name'] == 'Red'
The Excel action is the way you should expect things to function in the future - the 1st/2nd column criteria search for a string, the advanced criteria lets you search in more advanced ways.
Hope this helps!
