How can I add a file field to a table? The result is same as master data table
Hello, dear team:
As the support document states:
Tables add a row, File fields display as a hyperlink for downloading that file.
However the hyperlink is not Convenient to get the file, especially when large amounts of files are collected to the table.
Is it possible to add the file directly to the table just like master data table?
Thank you

@BIN_127767 - you can see in your user created data table that the
Attachment
column is aLong Text
field type. There are certain table actions where you can specify the column type, which would then result in the file appearing in the same way as you see in the Master data table.- If you use a table from the Data section (imported), you can specify column types.
- You can also specify column types in Tables: Create an empty table action and then write specific data to that table throughout your process running.
Can you clarify how the
user created data table
is generating?5 -
@BIN_127767 - sure, happy to help! You can change the Type of the column by selecting the three dots to the right of the column name > Edit Field:
You'll then select the dropdown for Type (exactly as you would for a field on a workflow/task) and change it to File:
