Display multiple input fields on a single line

Allow fields to be provided on a form horizontally (on a single line).
For example, if I need to have a phone number input and I need to collect each element separately:
+[X] [XXX]-[XXX]-[XXXX]
Each bracket set represents a separate field.
Currently, this can only be done on separate lines (correct me if I am wrong!)

@David_931366 do you have other needs for putting multiple fields on a line beyond phone numbers? Field validation, which is in development, will include phone number field formatting.
