Excel: Apply filters -->Can I define the output file type?
Hello, dear team:
Currently the action Excel: Apply filters will generate a new excel file *.xls, even the input file is *.xlsx.
How can I get a *.xlsx file from the action?
As you know lots of actions can generate *.xlsx file.
Once I used the action Excel: Apply filters, *.xls file is created and it could make confusion in the workflow.

I've done a few tests on my end and so far have not been able to reproduce this case. In each run when I submit a .xlsx file to the action Excel: Apply filters action I receive a .xlsx as an output.
Could you send a message to help@catalytic.com and share the workflow where you are experiencing this? I can take a closer look from there and assist you with any other questions you have.

Sorry, the input file is *.xls format, I should have noticed that.
I thought it was *.xlsx.
So "Excel: Apply filters" get input file *.xls and generate a new *.xls, no problem.1
