Assigning tasks based on the time the task before it has been open and running

Is there a way to use the time a task has been open to then start a dependent task? For example, if a task has been open for 20 min, can we automatically assign the dependent task to begin once the time elapsed for the task before it has hit the 20 min mark?

@nasir Based on the Timing article (see "Setting a delay of less than 1 hour" section), could you use the following sequence?:

1. Date-times: Get current date & time
2. Date-times: Adjust a date & time (20 MINUTES)
3. Field: Field formulas (timing using the delayed 20 minute timestamp from above)

This is from the Globally Available Fields article:

result = tasks[“task-name”].status

You could then use the resulting field conditionally in a dependent action, based on 20 minutes having been lapsed, and the task still not being completed.
